Tanoshii Rumble 25th October 2025

Come and take part in Tanoshii’s very own in-house event!

Held in the downstairs Gym Hall at Boroughmuir High School on Saturday October 25th.

A unique opportunity for our 5-7 year olds who will take part in a fun warm-up, short judo session and some friendly judo “matches”!

The 8+ year olds will take part in a warm up and competitive judo matches in a fun and friendly club environment. Entrants will be split into pools of 4-5 based on size, age and experience.

All participants will be presented with medals after their event.

There will be no admission fee for spectators so please come and enjoy the action!

As always we will be running a bake sale and coffee stand, and any donations would be greatly appreciated! Refreshments will be available for purchase but a packed lunch is advised.

Provisional Timetable

  • 10:00 Doors open

  • 10:30 Registration finishes

  • 10:45 Warm Up 

  • 11:15 Competition Starts

  • 2-2:30 Medals presentation

Format

All competitors will be split into pools based on weight, age and experience. Entrants will require their own judogi and belt on the day.

  • Under 8s Mini-Rumble

    • 2 minute randori

    • No winners or losers!

    • Medals for everyone

  • 8+ Rumble

    • 3 minute matches with rolling clock

    • Bronze, Silver and Gold medals
