Tanoshii Team Rumble June 21st 2026
The Tanoshii Team Rumble is back for 2026!
Come along for an action-packed day of judo! The Team Rumble aims to maximise time on the mat in a friendly and relaxed environment, so is perfect for those new to competing. Having mixed teams adds a fun and exciting twist to the competition!

Open to judoka aged 8-13 on the day of the competition.
Spectators welcome and admission is free!

Entries close Sunday 14th June
Timeline of the day*:
9:30am - 9:45am - Registration and Weigh in for 8-10 year olds
9:50 - Coach led warm up
10:15am - 8-10 yrs Competition start time
1.00pm - Award Ceremony
1:15pm - 1:30pm Registration and Weigh in for 11-13 year olds
2:00pm - Competition Start
3:45pm - Award Ceremony

Format of event
After weigh-in, judoka will be randomly grouped into teams based on age and weight on the day.
Each judoka will be given a coloured belt to show what team they are on.
Each contest will run for three minutes on a rolling clock, ensuring plenty of valuable mat time and nonstop action!
Each judoka is guaranteed a minimum of two contests, with the goal of three or more, ensuring plenty of time to showcase their skills on the mat!
In a team match, the aggregate score of each contest decides the winning team.
When not on the mat, judoka can take on thrilling physical challenges for a chance to win awesome prizes!
Additional Information
Judoka must have a judogi (judo suit) and belt to participate in this event.
Judoka must have a valid National governing body membership, (JudoScotland, BJA, etc.)
Delicious refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the day to keep everyone fuelled and energised!
Video recording and photography may be taken for promotional purposes including publication on websites and social media. By completing the entry form you indicate your acceptance of these conditions and parents (in the absence of any expressed objection) provide their consent to the taking and use of photos/videos.
